How to resolve a tech problem
Please report any technical issues / problems directly to IT tech via CS or Google chat, or file an Uberticket [PB8324.1] Desktop Support.
Defective items (broken headset, mouse or monitor)
Please report any defective item(s) to your optiBPO Account Manager. Your optiBPO Account Manager will report the defective item(s) to IT for evaluation. Once evaluated and approved for replacement, your optiBPO Account Manager will work with your client to seek approval for the purchase.
Once approved, optiBPO Account Manager will inform CS-Inventory to replace your item.
How to install a special tool requested by my client
Requests for special tools such as PC upgrades and other peripherals must be directed to your optiBPO Account Manager.
optiBPO Account Manager will coordinate the request with Inventory and CS IT for installation.
Software licenses
There are a number of vendors who, under their end user licensing agreement (EULA), require the license to be purchased in the Philippines. Such licenses include:
- Adobe
- AutoCAD
- TEKLA
- Solidworks | Solidedge
It is a direct violation of licensing terms and conditions for a team member to use a license purchased outside the Philippines. As such, optiBPO will work with you to procure licenses in the Philippines and install them on your computers. Please reach out to your optiBPO Account Manager if you wish us to procure a software license.
Use of Personal Equipment
Team members are prohibited from using personal laptops or devices in the office or while working from home. The office does have a segregated network for personal use for devices such as smart phones. However, the use of personal devices for work purposes is strictly prohibited due to security, privacy, licensing, and support requirements.
