Refer-a-Pal Program

Description

The Refer-A-Pal Program continues to be one of our most valuable recruitment channels, helping us attract talented individuals through trusted recommendations from our team members. To further improve candidate quality, retention, and regularization rates, we have refined the program guidelines to better align rewards with long-term success.

To thank you for sending us referrals, optiBPO offers a bonus for each successful referral.

Referral bonuses will now be paid in stages to recognize successful placement, retention, and regularization:

If you know someone who would be fit in any of these positions, they may apply using the below options:

  • Via Email You may send their updated CV (PDF format) to info@optibpo.com and indicate in the Subject the role they are applying for.
  • Via Careers Page Your referrals may apply directly through the optiBPO Careers page and indicate in the Cover Letter field that you referred them to optiBPO so it will be recorded accordingly.

Rules

What’s Changing?

1. Referrals Must Be Linked to a Specific Role

When submitting a referral, team members must indicate the specific role for which they are recommending the candidate.

While we welcome general resumes and referrals, the purpose of the RAP Program is to support active hiring needs and current vacancies.

2. Referral Validity Period

To ensure referrals remain relevant to current hiring requirements, a referral will remain valid for 60 days from the date it is submitted.

If the candidate is not placed into a role within that period, they will no longer be considered an active referral under the RAP Program. We still encourage candidates to apply for future opportunities and hope to engage them again when suitable roles become available.

3. Duplicate Referrals

If multiple employees refer the same candidate, the referral bonus will be awarded to the employee who submitted the referral first based on recorded submission time.

4. Updated Referral Incentive Structure

Referral bonuses will now be paid in stages to recognize successful placement, retention, and regularization:

5. Employment Requirement

The referring employee must be actively employed with optiBPO at the time each referral bonus payment becomes due in order to receive the incentive.

6. Eligibility of OptiCore Staff

OptiCore team members may participate in the Refer-A-Pal Program, provided they are not directly involved in the recruitment, selection, or hiring process of the candidate they referred.

7. Probation Extension Due to Disengagement

In cases where a referred employee’s probationary period is extended due to a disengagement event, any pending referral incentive will only be released once the employee has successfully completed regularization.

Effective Date

These updated guidelines will take effect on 1 July 2026 and will apply to all referrals submitted on or after this date.

Referrals submitted prior to 1 July 2026 will continue to be governed by the previous Refer-A-Pal Program guidelines.

  • Encourage referrals for active business needs
  • Promote long-term employee retention and success
  • Ensure fairness and consistency in the administration of referral incentives
