Office update [Friday, 30 April]

Quarantine levels | no change

On Wednesday, the Philippine Government made an announcement in relation to the quarantine levels in the Philippines. In summary, there has been no change and the following quarantine levels will now remain in place until 14 May 2021:

optiBPO will continue to closely monitor announcements from the government and local authorities to understand the latest quarantine restrictions and their impact on business operations. At this stage, all Clark and Cebu offices remain open and fully operational while some restrictions exist in Manilla.

As many of you are aware there was a temporary office closure on Friday as a result of a positive case. In an abundance of caution and based on local health directions, the office underwent deep cleaning procedures under the watch of the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO), and then re-opened on Saturday at 10pm.

We continue to ensure the safety of all team members going to the office with the following measures being taken:

  • Daily staff health declarations
  • Mandatory wearing of masks
  • Temperature checks upon office entry
  • Free staff access to doctors and nurses
  • Hand sanitizer stations
  • Continuous in-house deep cleaning
  • Socially distanced workstations

Reminder | Safe Office Action Plan (SOAP)

As we continue to navigate the ongoing pandemic, we remain committed to keeping our offices safe by following extensive COVID safety procedures. We have a Safe Office Action Plan in place and further details can be found here – Team Portal: Safe Action Office Plan (SOAP).

If you have any concerns, or wish to raise any questions about the office, or support we can provide to you, please contact your assigned optiBPO Account Manager.
