As you are all aware, the 2022 Philippine Presidential Election will be held on Monday, 9 May 2022 and it is a regular practice for the President to declare the election date as a “Special Non-Working Holiday” at short notice.
If this happens, you will be granted one (1) additional Holiday Leave Credit (HLC) to be used as offset leave during the year. Please ensure that you offset this leave prior to Monday, 9 May. Alternatively, you may wish to request for leave and use the additional HLC on Monday, 9 May in order to vote. As a reminder, all leave must be approved in advance by your client and loaded into Staff Central.
This has been communicated with your client and they are aware of the upcoming election date. As soon as an official announcement is made, we will cascade.
