Holiday Leave Credit (HLC) Reminders for Client Holidays

Just a quick reminder for all optiBPO team members regarding filing holiday leave credits on plotted client holidays.

If a holiday is scheduled on your client’s calendar (e.g 4th of July, King’s Birthday, etc.), you’re already compensated for that day. However, there may be instances where your client requests you to work on that specific day. In such cases, please clarify your schedules with your clients and make sure to remove the HLC field to prevent double payment.

How to Remove HLC

  1. Go to My Tools
  2. Go to Activity Reports > My Calendar
  3. Click on Holiday List.
  4. Go to plotted holidays and click the pencil icon for your desired date to offset
  5. Click “Clear” under Planned Holiday Offset.
  6. Fill out the reason (i.e. work)
  7. Attach the approval from your client (a screenshot of an email or chat log that shows your client’s approval)
  8. Under department, select the appropriate department of your team lead.
  9. Under Team Lead, select your appropriate team leader.
  10. Click ‘Submit’.
