Quarantine levels until 30 June
The Philippine Government made an announcement in relation to the quarantine levels in the Philippines. In summary, the following quarantine levels will remain in place until 30 June 2021:

As previously communicated, we are now seeing the number of COVID cases in the Philippines subside and restrictions being eased which is very positive news along with other information:
- Vaccination rollout has begun – The vaccination rollout has begun in the Philippines, but it is very much in its early stage and is focused on vaccinating medical frontliners and people being at high risk. We do know of a small number of staff who have already received vaccinations this way, but the rollouts vary widely from place to place and there is still a significant vaccine shortage in the country.
- optiBPO vaccine rollout – optiBPO remains in discussions with a number of suppliers and has an agreement in place to receive a shipment of the US developed Novavax vaccine. Once the vaccines arrive, they will be available at no cost to all team members.
- Additional medical & mental health support – We added two new doctors and an additional nurse to our in-house medical team who will provide team members with on-going 24/7 consultations for free.
As always, we thank you for your support and understanding during this unprecedented time. If there are any questions, please direct them to your Account Director.
